Valentine's Day Baking Kit Giveaway

Do you want to say "I Heart You" this Valentine's Day, but are low on cash? One of my favorite "Budget Diva" tips is to show someone how much you care with something homemade from the kitchen. This year, McCormick's makes it even easier with recipes, tips, and even a special gift giveaway just for my readers!

If you want to make an edible gift this Valentine's Day, start by choosing a recipe based on their "Relationship Matrix." All the work is done for you! Decide who you are cooking for, the status of your relationship or the occasion and the matrix tells you what to bake! All the recipes are available right there on the website.

Now, for the giveaway! McCormick's has offered this outstanding "I Heart You" gift pack for one lucky reader. It has everything you need for a delicious Valentine's Day. An apron, Crate and Barrel dish towels, spatula and cookie cutters, and, of course, a variety of McCormick products!

Simply leave a comment about who you want to tell "I Heart You" this Valentine's Day! I will pick a random winner at 5 pm Pacific Time on February 14th. Don't forget your name and contact info so I can notify you if you win!

My husband. He has loved me and never changed even though my PTSD from the military has changed me. We are changing our whole life. Moving from a house to an apartment to make things work. He has given up his old car to pay off bills that we could not afford. He is the love of my life and it would be nice to give him something else than a home made card this year. We have put the car money elsewhere. Either way I was planning in baking for him:)

My hubby. In the winter, we're basically like roommates between his two jobs, my full-time school and volunteering at the ski area... It's hard to make time to just sit down, be with each other, and let each other know that even after all these years, we still love each other.

My husband doesn't believe in Valentine's Day and we're not going to be anywhere near each other anyway. So I'd want to tell my parents that 'I heart' them. They've been great as my husband & I have gone through some rough times. They've let us live in their second home rent-free (we do pay utilities). They've let me stay in their house, again rent free, with them since the only job I've been able to find is where they live, which is 200 miles from my husband and cats. They even bought me a nook as a joint Christmas/birthday gift because they know how much I've wanted one & how much I love to read. You can't ask for better parents than the ones I have!

Hi Kristina. There are plenty of people that I'd like to and will say I love you but these 2 are very important this year. My husband who I've been with for 22 years who is going through a particularly difficult the last few months with his mother. The second person would be my MIL. She's 90 1/2 years old with Alzheimers and has been really sick and in and out of hospitals since November. After living with us for 3 years it was time for her to enter rehab/nursing and just this week they had to amputate her leg. She doesn't even realize it. So I would like to sweeten up Valentines for these to special people. I didn't mean to run on and one but when you asked I could stop at just my husband.

Have a sweet Valentines Day. Hugs...Tracy :)

I am fixing her a from scratch red velvet cupcake(s) with a chocolate cream cheese frosting. For V day I will fix her a meal she can not resist. She says she rather I cook at home for her than go out any day. chef.dan.keller@gmail.com

I would like to say I Heart You to my dearest friends, Lisa and Christy. These ladies were my rock this past year as I grieved the unexpected and hurtful demise of my long term committed relationship. They gave me a shoulder to lean on, an ear to vent into and a place where I could to to feel peace. They cried with me and they made me laugh when I thought I'd never be able to again. With their help I made it through and I'm going to be ok :)
