12 Days of Savings – Day 2: Movie and a Popcorn Garland

It’s official - I have the itch to start watching Christmas movies. There are the classics like “It’s a Wonderful Life” or “White Christmas” and new favorites like “The Holiday.” On a cold winter night like tonight there is just nothing better than building a fire, loading up a DVD, and popping some popcorn. This year why not string some popcorn garland for your tree while watching your favorite flick. Also, if you have any leftover cranberries in the freezer from Thanksgiving they look beautiful in the garland as well. Your tree will have a charming traditional look and you will save on pricey garland or messy tinsel.



After Christmas I like to take the garland outside and hang it in the trees for the birds and squirrels to enjoy. They deserve a little holiday treat as well!
